Fall is passing quickly this year with so much tumult around us that is deeply impacting our friends, families, neighbors, communities and lives. We have arrived at a fork in the road and a time to pause and take stock of ourselves, our country and our values so we might meet this moment head on and look forward with fresh optimism and renewed vigor.
Many of us won't be able to spend the holidays with our friends and extended families this year, but it is a time to reflect on our blessings, reach out to help those who are less fortunate, and give thanks for what is good in our lives. There are many reasons to be optimistic, and many pleasures of the seasons available for us to enjoy, not the least of which being the great outdoors where we can unwind, refresh and reinvigorate our spirit.
